A & A Mechanical, Inc. commenced business in 1998 as a Local #60 union contractor.  We have completed over 3300 jobs in Southeast Louisiana.

In 1998, Catherine Duvio and Armand Duvio, Jr. formed a Louisiana based mechanical contracting company to serve the needs of the Metro New Orleans area.  The company is licensed by the State Plumbing Board of Louisiana (master plumber license #2722) , mechanical boards in the Metro New Orleans area including Jefferson Parish, City of Hammond, City of Gretna, City of Kenner, Orleans Parish, Slidell, Baton Rouge, St. Tammany Parish, Plaquemines Parish, and Terrebone Parish.  We also hold an occupational license in St. Bernard Parish (license #775137) and also a State Contractors License (license #34968).  Our focus is to keep operating costs to a minimal, allowing us to stay competitive with non-union contractors while still maintaining the upmost quality of work from our union local 60 graduated plumbers and steamfitters.  Since the formation of the company in 1998 we have had significant growth each year.  In mid 2008 we expanded our office and warehouse located at 3106 Paris Rd. in Chalmette, La. in order to accommodate our growing office staff.   Our labor staff ranges from 75 to 100+ employees.   We are a member of Plumbers & Steamfitters Local Union #60 and have been since 1998.  A&A Mechanical became one of the few large mechanical companies certified as a DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE in 2008, which helps general contractors meet HANO and similar organizations requirements.
